Our house in pictures

We introduce ourselves. Just have a look at our house. We have put together some pictures for you, so that you can get a first impression of our house and the life with us. But of course we would also be happy to welcome you personally.

Feel like at home

Our residents' rooms are designed to be suitable for seniors and people with disabilities, so that barrier-free everyday life is guaranteed.

Each resident room is equipped with a bathroom with toilet, sink and floor-level shower.

The basic equipment includes height-adjustable electric nursing beds, a bedside table and a closet with a lockable inner compartment.

We want our residents to feel at home, so they can furnish their rooms individually.

If desired, residents can bring their own furniture. Alternatively, furniture suitable for senior citizens is available from the house.

In addition to the furniture, the following furnishings are part of the basic equipment:

  • Lighting
  • Connections: Radio, TV
  • Emergency call system
  • Telephone connection

This also means that we constantly put our services to the test, in an effort to both continuously develop ourselves further and to be able to withstand external reviews at any time.

The current MDK reports are available to the facilities. These can be viewed on site.

Support association

The sponsoring association 'Freunde und Förderer der Seniorenzentrum St. Martinus e.V.' places the GFO Zentrum Langenfeld - Wohnen & Pflege St. Katharina at the center of its work.

The purpose of the association is the promotion of the elderly and youth welfare by supporting the idealistic, material and social interests of the residents, clients and employees of the facilities in the GFO Center Langenfeld - Living & Care St. Katharina.

The sponsoring association 'Freunde und Förderer der Seniorenzentrum St. Martinus e.V.' also supports the equipment and the cultural program at the GFO Center Langenfeld - Wohnen & Pflege St. Katharina.

Advisory board represents the interests of our residents

The user/resident council at the GFO Center Langenfeld - Wohnen & Pflege St. Katharina represents the interests of the residents. It is elected by the residents of a facility at regular intervals.

Our residents' council consists of a total of 3 people.

The rights and duties of the residents' council are defined by law. These include, in particular, having a say and the right to information on the topics of accommodation, care, conditions of stay, home rules, catering and leisure activities.

The residents' council is therefore also an important link between the residents on the one hand and the facility management on the other.
